How can a trip to the foot doctor serve as inspiration for a blog post? That’s because my foot doctor is always smiling and cheerful when he sees his patients. I’m inspired to write about Dr. Zaccaria because it’s obvious that he has made a conscious choice to maintain a positive outlook on life. I’m sure there are things that bother him at times, but you’d never know it anytime he interacts with a patient.

How many people do you know who have a negative outlook on life or are chronic complainers? How does that affect their everyday life? It likely doesn’t help their level of happiness or fulfillment with life. Negative thinking often affects the way a person thinks about themselves, and they may be more prone to feeling depressed or anxious.

Everyone has a choice to make every day: Are you going to approach life with positivity or negativity? What impact will that critical decision have on your relationships with others? How will it affect your future success at work?

While I may be experiencing some discomfort after my foot procedure, what I remember most is my smiling, happy-go-lucky doctor who clearly enjoys the work he does and knows the importance of making someone’s day a little brighter by spreading joy and positivity with others.

What are some ways you can share positivity with others? How can you make someone’s day a little better? All it takes is a little effort and intentionality on your part. The rewards are limitless, and you’ll be giving yourself opportunities to live a happier and more fulfilling life.

Go spread some joy and make someone’s day!
